Hanjin D&B has secured numerous patents showcasing its innovation in drilling technology and related machinery. In 2020, it patented a “Horizontal directional drilling method using water hammer directional drilling assembly,” a “Geothermal heat exchanger and method of constructing the same,” and a “Water hammer directional drilling assembly.” In 2018, it added patents for a “Water hammer apparatus” and a “Blasting method and partition bracket for blasting.” Earlier achievements include patents for a “Water purifier” in 2016, a “Load clamping device of boring machine” in 2015, and a “Foot clamp of boring machine” along with an “HDD method device” in 2014. The company also secured patents for innovative boring machines and components, including “Boring machine with head,” “Lid supporting equipment of boring machine” in 2013, and “Air hammer of boring machine” as well as “Rod installation equipment” in 2012. Notably, in 2011, Hanjin patented a “Vibration hammer” and another “Rod installing equipment of boring machine,” reflecting its sustained commitment to advancing drilling technology.
